Susann Keohane is the Head of Emerging AI Health Solutions, Ecosystem, and Innovation at IBM Watson Health and an IBM Master Inventor with over 200 patents issued worldwide. Featured in Time Magazine, the BBC, and other global outlets, she is a recognized leader in applying artificial intelligence, machine learning, and IoT to health innovation.

With more than 15 years of experience leading cross-functional teams, Ms. Keohane has held roles as software engineer, consultant, researcher, and executive. She previously served as IBM’s Global Leader for Healthy Aging and Global Technical Lead for Accessibility Enablement, where she advanced enterprise-wide accessibility and health technology initiatives. She also founded the IBM–UCSD Center for Healthy Aging, driving groundbreaking collaborations that integrate AI and data-driven insights to improve health outcomes.
