Bio
Lily Liu has served as a member of the JH AITC Stakeholder Council since 2023. She is a family caregiver advocate who speaks around the country about caregiving issues, highlighting her own journey as a 1.5-generation immigrant family caregiver. Her multimedia presentations are done in English, Mandarin Chinese, and bilingually at community-education events. She encourages family caregivers to have agency when handling their caregiving tasks and responsibilities. Her articles and blogs about her caregiving experiences have been published in the United States and the United Kingdom. She has contributed two articles to the PennAITech newsletter (December 2024, Issue 10, p. 15 and August 2025, Issue 13, p. 18).
The majority of Liu’s career has been in executive communications and community outreach in the nonprofit sector. She leverages storytelling in her presentations because of the power that stories have to inform and inspire. Her translations of the essays of contemporary Chinese women writers have been published in journals in the United States and Asia.
