Dr. Phillip H. Phan, professor at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School and director of the Networking and Mentoring Core for the Johns Hopkins Artificial Intelligence & Technology Collaboratory for Aging Research, discussed the core's work and objectives in a recent webinar. Focused primarily on expanding the reach of artificial intelligence technologies in aging care into government, industry, and academia, the core has outlined several strategies. They intend to launch an online platform dedicated to disseminating information on AI and aging, fostering innovation, and influencing clinical practice. In addition to promoting scientific interaction in the field, the core aims to train a diverse, interdisciplinary cohort of innovators and to facilitate networking through various platforms and events, including the a2 National Symposium.
